Craig has pinpointed the value in the outright market for Betting Radio listeners in the elite top 16 tournament.
The headline selection is the “Belgian Bullet” Luca Brecel who is slowly getting back to
the form that won him the World Championship in 2023.

Pickings have been slim for the twenty-nine-year-old since his shock victory at the
Crucible Theatre which can be attributed to Brecel losing dedication and focus, but
there has been plenty of evidence in his last three tournaments that the partying has
ceased and he is taking practice seriously again.
Indeed, he landed a 33/1 each way place in the Riyadh Snooker Championship just before Christmas.
There is no doubt the bottom section looks a little easier than the other three in the
event and Brecel has drawn an Alexandra Palace debutant in the ultra-consistent,
Chris Wakelin.
With Brecel’s experience of the unique rowdy atmosphere in London, that could be
quite an advantage let alone Brecel’s crowd pleasing style when back to form.
Next match up, he will play Kyren Wilson or Zhang Anda, two players who Brecel
has good records against and he beat them both in the Saudi Arabian event prior to
Christmas so there are solid reasons to feel confident he reaches the semi-finals.
