6 Nations Preview - England v Ireland - Richard Shaw Wright

Six Nations Betting Preview – England v Ireland – Richard Shaw Wright

This is Richard Shaw Wright looking ahead to Saturday’s second game in the penultimate week of the 2024 Six Nations. And so we head to Twickenham where England versus Ireland should be another one of those matches, which seems straightforward on paper and it should be the same on the pitch as well.

Have we seen enough from Steve Borthwick’s men to think they can beat Ireland? No, I don't think we have. Can they win with the 11 1/2-point advantage on their opponents on the handicap? Possibly, but I’d still take the Irish despite that disadvantage, they've got four men in their squad who scored two or more tries in the tournament so far, so I've not put off the 11 to 10 on Dan Sheehan to score any time, nor the likes of James Lowe at bigger prices and what? About the pair of them together. 21/10 10

A Pro English bet and the best I can find are the first points to be scored in the match to be an England penalty.
