Betting Preview: League 2 Matchday 28

Here is a quick-tip betting preview for three League 2 games this weekend.

Bradford v Walsall

The big game of the weekend is Bradford at home to Walsall. Both teams are currently in great form, but nobody is getting close to the table-topping juggernaut that is Walsall.

They're not just top of the League 2, they are 12 points clear of 2nd, and 17 points clear of Bradford who are 8th.

Walsall can, and have, won almost everywhere on their road. Their last 4 games on their travels they have played at 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 17th in the league, and won them all.

They can definitely win at 8th. Bradford are in good form with 5 wins in their last 7 games but the golden rule in League 2 this season is if you can play Walsall odds against to win a game, they have won all of their last 9, you take it.

Walsall are 17/10 at William Hill to win and that is our selection.

MK Dons v AFC Wimbledon

There is a big grudge match in League 2 this weekend with MK Dons at home to Wimbledon. The bookies have priced this up almost as a pick em'. 7/4 MK Dons, 13/8, Wimbledon and we are with the away side in this one.

After 4 straight wins at home in the league, MK Dons are now win-less in 4 and have only scored 1 goal in those 4 games. They currently score more, and win more, on the road.

Wimbledon are 4th in the table just outside the automatic promotion places and have won 4 of their last 5 away games scoring over 1.5 goals in all 4 wins.

Wimbledon also played at MK Dons earlier this season in the FA Cup and won 2-0.

Wimbledon to win this grudge match, 13/8 at Betfair is our pick.

Colchester v Morecambe

And the third game is a a bit of a price play. Colchester are odds on, 4/6 in most places to beat Morecambe who are 9/2 best price.

Colchester are mid-table with Morecambe 2nd bottom, so the pricing is understandable but when you break the form down, you may start to think the home side are way too short.

Colchester have won just 3 of their last 10 home games while Morecamble have lost 4 of their last 10 away games, which is pretty good form for a club struggling at the bottom of the table.

Morecambe did lose away last time at Salford which makes it more likely they will avoid defeat at Colchester. Morecambe have not lost back-to-back away games since the start of October.

And if Colchester have a bogey team, it's Morecamble. In the last 6 games at home to Morecambe, Colchester have won none of them.

Morecambe are tempting at 9/2 to win but we picking Morecambe or the draw at 13/10 at Star Sports.

Enjoy the football, good luck with your best and please gamble responsibly.
