Can Hossein Vafaei carry his Championship League form over to
Germany?
Hossein Vafaei caught my eye in the opening Championship League group, having struggled for form all season.
Many snooker pundits don't read much into the convivial event, but there have been numerous occasions in recent years where it has aided an out of form player turn their season around. Not only that, but the format and history of the event is dominated by World
Champions or World Championship specialists.
The draw for the German Masters has been kind opened up around Hossein Vafaei with Ding Junhui withdrawing, and I expect the popular Iranian to be buoyed by his recent form and barge right through!

Luca Brecel
Regular listeners of Betting Radio who followed our Masters tip on Luca Brecel, might not have won but had solid reasons to be confident that if the young Belgian had beaten reigning World Champion Kyren Wilson in their close quarter final, they would have made profit.
Brecel was the finalist at the atmospheric Tempodrom early in his professional career just under a decade ago in 2016, which is no surprise given Brecel often thrives in front of the sport's biggest crowds.
Now back to form, one of snooker’s best entertainers’ Luca Brecel is desperate for World Ranking Points and Berlin is the perfect city to begin that quest in earnest for 2025.
