Can Swindon smash Harrogate and will Carlisle's season go from bad to worse? League 2 Betting Preview

Gavin Puszczalowskyi

Here is our quick-tip League 2 betting preview.

Harrogate Town v Swindon Town

Harrogate host Swindon Town on Saturday and while these teams are not too far apart in the league, they certainly are in current form.

Swindon have taken 14 points from their last 6 games, and they have scored 15 goals in those 6 games, more than any other side, while Harrogate have won 5 points and scored 4 goals in their last 6 games.

If you wish to beat Swindon, get your shooting boots on. 11 goals in 3 games for Swindon and 4 wins in 5 shows they are in great shape heading into this game against a Harrogate side winless in 5.

Swindon are 7/5 at William Hill to to win and that is our pick.

Carlisle United v Colchester United

Carlisle's dismal season continues with a home game against a Colchester side who are in good form.

Carlisle have a new team, 12 signings in the January transfer window, and they have a new manager in Mark Hughes, who joined the club after the 12 signings were made, so they are hoping for a new start in Mark Hughes' first home game in charge.

Carlisle have lost all of their last 4 league games making it 8 defeats in 10. They are plum bottom.

On the other hand, Colchester have won 4 of their last 5 league games including 2 of their last 3 away games. They currently are mid-table 8 points away from the play-offs. If they wish to make the top 6 then Carlisle is a place where you would say they should come and take all 3 points.

Colchester are 7/5 at Coral to win and that is our pick.

AFC Wimbledon v Salford City

AFC Wimbledon host Salford at the weekend off the back of another good home performance, beating Crewe 3-0 mid-week, landing us an 11/10 tip.

Not only have Wimbledon won their last 4 games straight at home in the league, they have not conceded a goal in all 4. Wimbledon away is one of the toughest fixtures you can have right now.

Salford were winning games and storming towards the top of the table until they lost 8-0 at Man City in the league. Up to playing Man City, Salford had won 6 in 7. Since Man City, Salford have won 1 in 6.

Wimbledon are odds against almost every where to win, but at Coral, they are 21/20, and we are playing it.

Good luck with your bets, enjoy the football, and please gamble responsibly.
