Both these games pitch National League, and National League North sides against league opposition.

Tamworth v Huddersfield Town

I'm starting with Tamworth at home to League 1, Huddersfield Town, which will be live on TV, and obviously the reasons this is live for the UK to enjoy, or not, depending on the game, is the opportunity for an upset. And I cannot see it, sadly. Sorry, Tamworth.

After an unexpected wobble from Huddersfield, losing 4 games straight, Huddersfield have now won 4 of their last 5, albeit it, most of these games at home, but they did get a credible 0-0 draw at Wrexham.

Tamworth are 16th in the National League, and while their home form is solid, 3 wins in 5, they have to often score over 1.5 goals to win as they do concede, they have conceded in 8 of their last 10 home games. So Huddersfield for me are good for a goal, or two, and they have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 5 games. I just think they will be too strong for Tamworth.

Huddersfield are 1/2 to win, which is too short for me, so I am backing Hudderfield to win the first half, and win the game after 90 minutes, 13/10 at BoylesSports.

Notts County v Alfreton Town

Elsewhere on Friday night a bit of a derby is being played. Notts County v Alfreton Town. There is only 20 miles between these clubs but the distance between the clubs on the pitch is much bigger. They often play each other in pre-season friendlies, they played just 4 months ago, but this is the first ever competitive fixture between the 2 clubs.

I'm not backing an upset here either. Having said that, 2 years ago, Notts County were dumped out of the cup after a 3-2 home defeat to Coalville Town, indeed, the last 3 games at home for Notts County in the FA Cup have all ended 3-2, but I fancy Notts County to progress to Round 2, but I do think there will be goals in this one and I am backing Alfreton to get on the score sheet. They will be well backed and they will give it a go.

Alfreton have only lost 2 of their last 17 games and have won 5 of their last 7 games in all competitions, so they come into this with some confidence.

Notts County are 4/9 to win, too short for me but I'm backing the home side to win and both teams to score, 21/10 at Bet365.

Good luck with your bets and please gamble responsibly.
