My name is Gavin Puszczalowskyi and I am looking at Round 13 of the Formula 1 season as we head to the tight and twisty turns of the Hungaroring on the outskirts of Budapest.
Upgrades could be the name of the game this weekend with Mercedes and Aston Martin bringing new ones to the Hungaroring with the hope of improving the performance of their cars and given the fact that Mercedes have won the last 2 races, this could prove to be very interesting.
Aston Martin upgrades
With the new regulations coming into effect at the start of last season, they burst on to the scene and were pretty much second fastest to Red Bull. But whereas the likes of Ferrari, Mercedes and definitely McLaren have upgraded and improved performance, Aston Martin haven’t. They tumbled back down the grid but with some new upgrades for the British Grand Prix which improved performance and the finishing results for Alonso and Stroll, and newer upgrades coming as I have mentioned, Aston Martin to have both drivers finished in the points, 10/3 at 10Bet is a play. Alonso and Stroll both finished Top 10 at Silverstone and both finished top 10 in Hungary last season.
Silver Arrows on form
Regarding Mercedes, both drivers to finish in the points is so small a price it’s not worth considering. It’s all or nothing. Hamilton and Russell are both 8/1 to with the race and why not? Current form and momentum is with the Silver Arrows. Hamilton and Russel of both EVS at Unibet to just finish on the podium, which is not the best price, but equally it’s not the worst bet.
McLaren to for the win?
And then comes McLaren. Certainly, more tempting prices for their drivers to win than Verstappen at 11/10. Verstappen has not won the last 2 races, and while Lando hasn’t either, 4/1 on Lando to claim the chequered flag is too big. His teammate, Piastri, is 16’s which is huge.
So, Aston Martin to both finish in the Top 10, Mercedes to challenge for the win or settle for the podium, and Lando for the race win are my tips.
