After 18 days of cricket, India will be taking on New Zealand in the Champions Trophy Final in Dubai. James Buttler finds the best bets.

There's been a bit of controversy around this tournament India refusing to go and play in Pakistan have been camped out in Dubai for the duration of this tournament. It's meant that basically they knew the surfaces and have been able to pick their squad accordingly. They've had no travel thrown in. They are the best team in the tournament with an advantage.

So that is why they are in the final and that was why I stuck them up at 2/1 at the very start of this tournament and now they are 4/9 to beat New Zealand in the final. If you're on that 2/1, or you have taken India at any stage in the tournament there is cover at 2/1 for New Zealand to win the final. So, you can guarantee yourself a profit. But, I do think India still win.
There are plenty of ways in to the final which sees a country of 1.4 billion people taking on New Zealand, punching above their weight on the world stage. A country of Lord of the Rings, loads of sheep, and a few people, and very few cricketers. But they always seem to punch and be greater than the sum of their parts. They fully deserve to be in this Final.
Top Batter
I'm gonna throw a few bets your way. The top batter in the final sees Rohit Sharma bizarrely as favorite, but Virat Kohli has been absolutely superb and he's 6/1. Kane Williamson scored a century in the semifinal and he's 8/1. Rachin Ravindra though provides the best value at 9/1 to be the leading batter in the final and isn't the worst pick in the world by any means.
Top Kiwi Batter
if we're looking at the top New Zealand batter, there is a slightly different way in. India have obviously got some very good bowlers in the power play (the first ten overs) and, if they take a few early wickets, Glenn Phillips has been coming into their lower middle order as a powerful hitting batter. At 17/2 to be the top Kiwi batter on Sunday he could be a great pick.
Top India Bowler
I'd like to put up Varun Chakravartty the spinner as he has been absolutely exceptional. He's a 10/3 to be the leading India bowler. He provides fairly economical overs, but also wicket taking deliveries. Chakravartty is definitely my pick there.
Player of the Champions Trophy Final
This is where I'm going to take Virat Kohli. If he plays as he has been doing particularly if India chase as he's an expert at getting his team home, he's 8/1 to be the man of the match.
That is the last pick for me for this Champions Trophy 2025 and it has had a lot of controversy, but India are the best ODI team They've had advantages in this tournament and they should lift the crown. If they do that Virat Kohli man of the match pick might be a very good pick indeed.
However, you bet please gamble responsibly and I'll be back on Betting Radio with some Indian Premier League picks. The IPL gets underway in the not-too-distant future and there's always plenty of value on the betting markets for that.
