Gavin Puszczalowskyi offers some quick-tips form three games taking place this weekend in League 2.
The best team by quite a distance this season is Walsall. Don't take my word for it, have a look at the league. They are top of the table, clear by 12 points from 2nd placed Doncaster and they have a goal difference of +23. The second best goal difference is +15
So, whenever you can get Walsall odds against to win a game, you take it. And they are 11/10 at BetGoodwin to win away at Cheltenham, and that is the quick-tip. Walsall to win their 8th league game in a row.
Doncaster v Port Vale
I doubt Port Vale have ever been compared to Man City, but both Vale and City have inexplicably had a loss of form after all looked well.
Earlier this season, Vale had won 5 straight league games, and had won 7 in 10. The November came and Vale have won just 1 in 10 and have failed to score in 5 of their last 6 games. So a trip to 2nd place Doncaster is not an attractive prospect.
Doncaster are not in great form, but they are still 2nd in the league and have won their last 2 games at home scoring 5 goals. Doncaster are EVS at William Hill to win and that is my quick-tip.
MD Dons v Salford
And it is the Karl Robinson derby on Saturday. The current boss of Salford is back at his former club, MK Dons.
I've said for a while I'm confused by Salford. They seem to just be treading water in League 2 with no real direction, but that was then, right now, they are have won all of their last 5 league games and are firmly on the up. On goal difference they have moved into the 3rd automatic promotion place.
MK Dons also won 5 games straight recently but in true League 2 style, suddenly went on a bad run with 3 consecutive defeats. They did win at Chesterfield last time out but I'm on Karl Robinson to get one over his old team with his current team.
Salford to win, 9/4, at Coral is my pick.
