I'm starting with Gillingham, who for me are currently the epitome of the unpredictable nature of League 2. The Gills were scoring goals, winning games, and sitting pretty at the top of the table, then, out of nowhere, 2 defeats in a row including an inexplicable loss at home to Grimsby.

Gillingham, 2nd in the table, are at home to 2nd bottom Accrington, and this is a great opportunity to get back on track and return to winning ways ands back to the top of the table.

Accrington's away form is extremely poor. They have lost every away game so far this season, and have lost 8 of their last 9 away games, with 7 of those 8 defeats been over 2.5 goals so that is the play for me. Gillingham are 4/5 in many places to win, and that is OK but Gillingham to win and over 2.5 goals is 7/4 at Bet365 is my pick.

Barrow v Morecambe

Barrow is my next selection in their local derby against Morecambe. As the crow flies, there is only 15 miles between the towns as they face each other over Morecambe Bay, if you travel by road then it's around 50 miles between the two teams, and the distance between the teams in the league is quite big too. Barrow are currently 3rd with Morecambe 24th and bottom.

Morecambe actually have the better record in the head-to-head with 4 wins in the last 5 meetings, but Barrow's home form is solid and Morecambe, albeit slowly improving, still having lost 7 of their last 10 away games.

Barrow as you can imagine are odds on everywhere to win, but I'm backing both teams to score in this one. Morecambe failed to score in their opening 5 games in the season but have scored in each of their last 5 league games, so Barrow to win and both teams to score is my pick, 13/5 at Unibet.

MK Dons v Port Vale

And my final pick involves an improving MK Dons at home to Port Vale, and for me, this has a draw written all over it. MK Dons have improved under new manger, Scott Lindsey, but they have drawn 3 of the 4 games he has been in charge, and Port Vale have drawn 2 of their last 4 games. Port Vale are 13/5 to win and that is too big for me, and tempting, but the reason that Scott Lindsey was appointed at MK Dons is because, quite simply, they were losing too many games and wallowing towards the bottom of the table.

They are now difficult to beat, but still have to find their winning touch. I doubt they will against a good Port Vale side. Draw for me, 13/5 at Bet365.

My picks for this weekends action in League 2. Gillingham to beat Accrington and over 2.5 goals in the game at 7/4 at Bet365. Barrow to beat Morecambe with both teams scoring, 13/5 at Unibet and a draw between MK Dons and Port Vale, also 13/5 at Bet365. A treble of around 35/1.

Good luck with your bets and please always gamble responsibly.
