Gavin Puszczalowskyi looks at the action in League 2 this weekend and picks his best three bets.
The first thing I do is have a quick scan of all the out-rights and see if something immediately jumps out at me, and this week, it does.
Tranmere are currently 21st in the table and if you look at just the home form, they also sit 21st with one telling stat. They have only scored 6 goals at home this season and no team has scored fewer. Tranmere have only won 2 of their 9 home games.
This weekend they are at home to Harrogate who are 4/1 to win at Tranmere. Harrogate, with the greatest of respect, are not world beaters, but nobody should be 4/1 to win at Tranmere. Looking at the away form for the away side, they have lost 4 of their 9 away games, so they are not dismal on their travels.
The 4/1 is very tempting for Harrogate but I'm going after some insurance. My tip in this one is Harrogate Draw-No-Bet at 14/5 at Unibet.
Another price that jumps out is Morecambe, 3/1, to win at Cheltenham.
Morcambe are 2nd bottom and not having the best of seasons so why am I tempted by them at 3/1? Of the 14 points that Morecambe have gained so far this season, 11 of them have been won on the road. They have the worst home form but are 11th best on their travels.
Cheltenham at home have won 2 of their last 7, so it is a place where visiting teams recently have had more success than not. I'm backing Morecambe, just like Harrogate, to get at least a point. The 3/1 on the away side is a play but Morecambe, 2/1 on the Draw-No-Bet at Bet365 is my tip.
And there is another bet that jumps out as being too big. 6/1 on Newport to win at Colchester. I'm taking the exact same approach with Newport as I did with Morecambe and Harrogate. Colchester are heavy odds-on favourites to win and I'm not convinced.
Colchester are unbeaten in 5 but there are many draws. They have won just 2 of their last 10, home and away, and they have only won 3 of their 9 home games this season. Is that form good enough to back them odds on? Not for me.
Newport on their travels are not brilliant but they have lost just 1 of their last 4 away games. Newport lost at Colchester to a 90th minute winner last season but the year before they got a draw at Colchester. The 6/1 on the away side is too big but I am on the Draw-No-Bet at 4/1, at Bet365, on Newport.
It's a hat-trick of Draw-No-Bets this week. Harrogate DNB, 14/5 at Unibet. Morecambe DNB at 2/1 and Newport DNB at 4/1 both at Bet365.
Good luck with your bets, enjoy the football and please gamble responsibly.
