Another 3-timer from David Easson as League One gets tight at the top.
Here's the League One Betting Preview for the most wonderful time of the year.
Bolton v Barnsley
Both sides are both on the fringes of playoff contention in League One after wobbly starts, but the Trotters are fancied to come out on top when they host the Tykes.
Bolton had won six successive home games before going down 2-0 to Wigan despite dominating possession, but bounced back with an excellent away performance to hold Wycombe to a goalless draw.
Barnsley have lost all confidence at home and on the road is where they are picking up points, but in recent weeks even that's eluded them. One win in seven in the league and Bolton will be ready for them.
The Trotters also get an extra day’s rest when they take on the Tykes who were thrashed 4-0 at home by Leyton Orient on Saturday.
Bolton have conceded in 8 out of 10 home games but take them and both to score at 13/5
Wrexham v Blackpool
Wrexham's promotion challenge has wobbled slightly with back-to-back draws but they are at home on Boxing day against Steve Bruce's Blackpool with what will be a bumper crowd behind them. The home draw against Cambridge, with a penalty given away in the 89th minute will sting and I think they step it up against the Tangerines.
Blackpool's run of 3 straight away wins will give them a lot of hope and despite the home 0-0 draw with Stevenage they will also come to Wales with high hopes.
I just think Wrexham can outscore them at the Racecourse where away goals are usually so rare.
Wrexham at 23/20 is a great price on the simple outright.
Birmingham v Burton Albion
I was going to suggest a large home win in this one and I still would not put it past Blues to beat the -2 handicap but they haven't taken anyone apart yet this season - yet.
They actually drew the most comparable home game this season against Northampton but they tend to get the job done one or two-nil. Usually with a clean sheet.
Burton have themselves not been humbled on the road, they just don't win.
Birmingham bought Jay Stansfield to score plenty of goals at this level and he finally is with 7 goals in as many games.
Back Stansfield to get the first in a Blues win at 16/5
That's a 30/1 treble, so good luck with that!
