We’ll start with an early Yorkshire derby that looks like it could get a little tasty. Steve Evans got a pasting from Wycombe’s social media last weekend for taking another defeat badly and it looks like the return is not going so well at the Millers. They have high-flying Huddersfield at home and with the Terriers’ very odd league cup capitulation at Walsall in midweek and Evans blasting his own side all week, it may not be quite as obvious an away win but at 29/20 you have to take that price play and bet on Steve Evans being even angrier at full time.

To the later games at the leaders Stockport have won 3 and conceded none. A super start for the Hatters. They face a Mansfield side who are 4 without a win in all competitions and who got thumped 4-1 in their derby with Lincoln last week. But the Stags have been Stockport’s bogey side for years as they’ve followed each other up the divisions. They have won 7 of the last 8, drawing the other, with Stockport’s last win back in 2008 but I can’t see this version of Stockport tripping up here this time and 13/8 is a very healthy price.

Then it’s off to our old reliable goal merchants Peterborough and Wrexham. It isn’t a cliché, they really do just get involved in games with goals all the time. Wrexham are still unbeaten and have seen eight goals scored in 3 matches, while there’s been 10 in the Posh’s 3 matches so far. Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score at 5/6 goes into the treble, which is just over 10/1.

That’s Huddersfield to beat Wrexham at 29/20

Stockport to win at Mansfield at 13/8

Over 2.5 goals and both teams to score in Peterborough v Wrexham

That’s a smidgeon over 10/1
