League One Betting Preview: Saturday Treble

A quick fire treble in League One this weekend with several teams trying to keep up with the top 4. It's the League One Betting Preview

Burton v Rotherham

There are signs that Steve Evans is – once again – getting it right at Rotherham. An unbeaten run, wins over sides above them like Charlton and Lincoln, goalless draws with high fliers Stockport and Huddersfield. Now they face Burton, who are on something of a resurgence down at the bottom of the league. In many ways it’s the Millers toughest game of the last few weeks with Gary Bowyer’s side fresh off a midweek win at Wigan but of two sides on decent runs, Rotherham are the better team and they’ve had some good away form, keeping clean sheets in their last 3 away games. Burton tend not to score more than once at home and so a couple of Rotherham goals should do the trick here.

Rotherham are 21/20 but with both teams scoring they are 100/30

Barnsley v Stevenage

Just the one away win for Stevenage all season. Plenty of draws, not a lot of goals at all.

They face a Barnsley side whose remarkable return to form has catapulted them back up the table. The poor home form feels a thing of the past with wins over Crawley and Wrexham. But they did lose badly last week Bristol Rovers.

Stevenage love an away clean sheet but Barnsley have it in them to grab a goal.

Back them to win this and under 2.5 goals in the game at 3/1

Stockport v Crawley

Crawley Town are hoping to halt a run of six straight winless League One matches as they travel to face Stockport County at Edgeley Park. The Hatters have gone two games without a home win so Crawley coming to town should really cheer them up. They won at Reading after going 4 without a win – a run that has been more than a blip in their race for promotion.

Now Crawley do like an away goal. They’ve scored highly in games and not won and I can see the same problem here. Stockport back on track. Crawley with 7 of the last 9 away games going over 2.5 goals but only winning one of them.

Stockport and over 2.5 is 5/4
