3 games on Tuesday build up to Thursday's huge match at the Racecourse in this midweek betting preview for League One with David Easson

Wigan v Burton
Lots of reasons to back the draw in this one. Burton are rock bottom but there are signs Garry Bowyer is starting to get things going.
It’s probably going to be too late but 3 draws in their last 4 matches, with some big names in there like Huddersfield can just about give them hope.
They face a Wigan side who are really poor at home. 3 without a win on their own turf and the worst ranked side in the division when it comes to goals at home and they’ve not kept a clean sheet at home in their last 6.
Burton are 4 without an away win – and have the fewest wins on the road in the league. They have also not scored more than a goal in any of their last 9 away matches.
It looks a cracker!
The draw is 14/5
The draw and under 2.5 goals, so 0-0 or 1-1 is 100/30
Bolton v Charlton
A mid-table match for two sides who wanted to be a lot further up the league at this time of the season, but neither can keep clean sheets.
Bolton have won just 3 of their last 10 matches in League One
Charlton won 3 back-to-back over Christmas but a home draw with Reading was followed by a 4-2 defeat at Rotherham on Saturday. They really do need the win here to have any thoughts of a run for the playoffs.
Bolton started the season well at home but back-to-back defeats by Wigan and Barnsley knocked them out of their stride and they needed a last minute own goal to grab a point at home to Cambridge on Saturday.
The difference maker could be Miles Leaburn, the really rather HUGE son of former Charlton star Carl Leaburn who now has 5 goals in his last 5 games.
A quick bet builder of Charlton double chance, Leaburn to score and both teams to score is 15/2
Peterborough v Exeter
What a fixture to try and predict!
Two teams in truly awful form. Posh are 6 without a win – just one win in 10 matches.
Exeter are 4 without picking up 3 points and have lost their last 3 in a row.
Peterborough have somehow gone two games without scoring. That’s rare. It’s usually goals at both ends, and they have conceded the most in the division. Saturday’s goalless draw with Leyton Orient was Peterborough’s first clean sheet of the season. A reminder that it is mid January.
Exeter have gone 11 matches without a clean sheet.
At London Road you’re usually guaranteed goals. Over 2.5 has landed in 9 of the last 11 matches there.
Another home defeat and you’d be fearing for Darren Ferguson’s job – again – at Posh so maybe we can just about back them to nick it at 11/10.
Wrexham v Birmingham
An almighty tussle at the top of the table this Thursday in League One. Birmingham looking to be pulling away from the rest in the race for the title, but they go to Wrexham who have by far the best home record in the league. The Racecourse is a fortress.
One thing Birmingham do have is the ability to score crucial goals on the road. They have scored first in their last 8 away games. But that hasn’t always meant they have won, although they do have the best away record in the division. Something will have to give.
Birmingham are ten without defeat, five without a loss on the road, winning 4 of them.
Wrexham have wobbled in recent weeks with away defeats at Shrewsbury and resurgent Barnsley and that is the crack in the form I’m looking for.
Birmingham are the better side and they are used to the bigger crowd. It shouldn’t put them off, and they should get the job done.
They are 6/5 for good reason. Add a Jay Stansfield goal in the for 16/5.
