Here is a quick-tip betting preview for the upcoming tournament on the PGA Tour. This tip is brought to you by golf tipster, Dave Tindall
VALERO TEXAS OPEN
It makes sense to think that the big names teeing it up in this week’s Valero Texas Open will have more than one eye on next week’s US Masters and perhaps should be avoided to thrive at TPC San Antonio.
But both Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy won the week before a Major last year so we have recent evidence that elite players can focus on the task in hand.

Jordan Spieth has twice won the week before a Major so he’s very much on the radar this week. The local Texan has an excellent record at TPC San Antonio. He won here in 2021, was runner-up in 2015 and also made the top 10 in both 2014 and 2024.
Spieth has dropped hints that he’s ready to win again with a fourth place in Phoenix and ninth at the recent Cognizant Classic.
And you can be sure he’ll have been putting the hours in ahead of his bid for a second green jacket next week.
His iron play certainly looks dialled in and 3rd for Strokes Gained: Approach at the Valspar Championship on his latest start bodes extremely well.
Spieth looks a value each-way pick at 25/1.
Enjoy the golf, good luck with your bets and please gamble responsibly
