Here is a quick-tip betting preview for the upcoming tournaments on the PGA and DP World Tour. These tips are brought to you by golf tipster, Dave Tindall
ARNOLD PALMER INVITATIONAL
The big names are out in force again this week with a $20million purse up for grabs in the annual Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill in Florida.
Scottie Scheffler has won two of the last three editions and could be hard to stop while Rory McIlroy, a winner at Pebble Beach last month, is also a real course horse. Rory has a win and a second here.
There’s every chance that one of this pair lifts the trophy again so it could pay to look at the betting ‘without Scheffler and McIlroy’.
In that market Shane Lowry appeals at 28/1 with Sky Bet.

The 2019 Open champion was third in last year’s Arnold Palmer after starting Sunday in the final group alongside Scheffler while McIlroy pipped him at Pebble Beach. But with the world’s top two out of the equation, it doesn’t matter if Scheffler or McIlroy edge out Lowry again.
So, Dave Tindall’s best bet on the PGA Tour this week is to Back Shane Lowry each-way in the market without Scheffler and McIlroy. He’s 28s with Sky Bet.
JOBURG OPEN
It didn’t work out for Dave Tindall’s tip, Daniel van Tonder, in last week’s South African Open.
But abandoning a player after one bad result so often results in frustration if they pop up next time - especially when we note that Van Tonder actually shot a 65 in round two last week. It was an opening 76 that ultimately wrecked his hopes.
So let’s keep faith with the local man to shine in another of his home events as the DP World Tour heads to the Joburg Open at Houghton Golf Club.

Van Tonder had been in brilliant form with two wins and three other top 10s in his previous five starts before that missed cut last week.
A strong player on tree-lined tracks at altitude, he has conditions in his favour this week and is Dave Tindall’s each-way bet for the Joburg Open at 35/1 with Betfair.
Enjoy the golf and please gamble responsibly
