Morecambe to dent Doncaster's automatic promotion hopes and Colchester to nullify Notts County

Here is a quick-tip League 2 betting preview for all 3 games on Tuesday.

Fleetwood v AFC Wimbledon

AFC Wimbledon take a long trip to the North West Coast to take on Fleetwood with the home side in unpredictable form.

Fleetwood have recently at home beaten league leaders Walsall but previous to that, lost at home to bottom side Carlisle. As a Fleetwood fan, you're not quite sure what it is you are going to see at home.

Wimbledon come into this game in great form having climbed to 2nd in the table, mainly off the back of superb home form. They have won 5 consecutive games at home and have not conceded in all 5.

Their winning home form is supported by solid away form. Not many wins, not many defeats, but a number of draws recently, and that is the pick in this one. Fleetwood at home to AFC Wimbledon, draw, 21/10 at bet365.

Morecambe v Doncaster Rovers

Morecambe host Doncaster Rovers and there have been a complete change of form for the home side.

Earlier this season Morecambe were awful at home with most of the goals, and points, being picked up away from home. Right now, they are dreadful away but scoring and winning games at home.

Morecambe have lost all of their last 5 away games in the league, scoring just 1 goal, but at home, they have won 3 of their last 4 and scored 8 goals in those victories.

Doncaster are odds on in most places to win and that is way too short. Doncaster have slipped from 2nd to 6th and have suffered 2 consecutive defeats in the league, losing at home to Grimsby at the weekend. Rovers have won just 2 of their last 6 away.

Our play in this one is to pick a positive result for the home side. Given current the current home form for the home side, and you could play them draw-no-bet or double chance, but we're playing the 27/10 at William Hill for the home side to win.

Notts County v Colchester United

Notts County are at home to Colchester on Tuesday and there could potentially be a betting trap in this one.

Notts County are currently 4th in the table but only 2 points of Wimbledon in 2nd, and they have won 6 of their last 9 league games at home. Colchester are 12th in the table, 8 points off the play-offs so many people will, understandably, pick County to win this game. They are odds on favs to do so.

But, Colchester have suffered the fewest defeats away from home than any other team, including Walsall and Notts County. Colchester have played 15 away games this season and they have only lost 3 of them.

Colchester have lost just once in their last 11 away games in the league, one defeat on their travels since October.

With Notts County being odds on to win, you're clearly going to get a nice price on any positive result for Colchester. We're tipping the draw, 13/5 at bet365 in this one.

Enjoy the football, good luck with your bets and please gamble responsibly.
