Brentford v Bournemouth

Brentford are the masters of taking control of a match and then handing it back. They were once again ahead in a match against Fulham on Monday and lost 2-1. Both Fulham goals came in added time at the end of the second half. They host a Bournemouth side on Saturday afternoon and have a sniff of steadying the ship against a team they haven’t lost to in the league in seven matches (W5, D2).

But this is a different Bournemouth. Andoni Iraola’s side have beaten Arsenal and Manchester City at home and picked up a 1-1 draw at Villa Park in their last three. Their away form is a slight worry with only one win in five away games this season, but confidence will be through the roof.

With Brentford not earning a single clean sheet this season, it’s tough to see Bournemouth being kept at bay and I’ll keep this first pick simple – Bournemouth to win at 9/5.

Crystal Palace v Fulham

James Buttler looks ahead to the 11th round of Premier League action and picks out the best bets with a treble.

Crystal Palace have won only one match this season in their 10 outings and were held 2-2 against Wolves. They had a Jean-Philippe Mateta winner cancelled in that match and it feels a bit like they are swimming against the tide. Things are not going their way. Just wen they really need to change the momentum they are up against a Fulham side on Saturday who they have lost four and drawn one of their last five H2Hs.

That solitary win did come 1-0 at home in the last match against Spurs and Oliver Glasner’s men may have a little more belief, but then Fulham will have supreme confidence right now. The bang bang in added time to take all three points at Brentford has moved them up to ninth.

However you bet in this one, don’t despair if you find yourself requiring late goals. Five of Fulham’s last seven league games have featured at least one goal after the 85th minute. With Palace only scoring once in their last three home matches and Fulham on fire, I’m not going to overcomplicate this tip either. Fulham to win at 7/4.

Liverpool v Aston Villa

Back-to-back Anfield wins for Liverpool in the Premier League and the Champions League see Arne Slot’s team top of both leagues. We often refer to taking over from an iconic successful manager as a poisoned chalice, but Slot seems to be immune.

Slot could become the fourth manager to ever win nine of his first 11 Premier League games and he has every chances as they’ve taken five wins in their last six home league H2Hs, with the other game drawn.

Villa will hope Tyrone Mings won’t randomly decide to pick up the ball within his own penalty area and Villa have hit a dip with only one win in their last five and three straight defeats in all competitions.

This is another Liverpool win surely and the 4/9 isn’t incredibly enticing but it’ll be enough for our Saturday treble.

Elsewhere in the markets, I’m taking Luis Diaz to score anytime. He comes in fresh from a midweek Champions League hattrick and is 2/1 anytime with Betfair.
