Ipswich v Bournemouth

After winning at Spurs, Ipswich are finding life tough again and they remain the only Premier League side without a home victory this season.

Ipswich come up against a Bournemouth team who completely outplayed Spurs on Thursday and should really have won by more than just a single goal.

Only the top two have scored more away goals than the Cherries so I’ll back Bournemouth for the win at a fraction of odds-against.

Leicester v Brighton

Ruud van Nistelrooy started his Leicester reign with a 3-1 home win over West Ham and will be looking to make it a second straight victory when Brighton visit the King Power.

The Seagulls start the weekend in fifth so are clearly having a strong season but just one point in games against Southampton and Fulham was disappointing.

Van Nistelrooy did well in home games in his brief stint as caretaker boss with Manchester United and I have a feeling that the pattern for him will be Leicester doing well at home but struggling badly on the road.

In which case, they look a value bet at 7/2.

Fulham vs Arsenal

Fulham took four points off Arsenal last season and won this fixture 2-1 on New Year’s Eve.

And the Cottagers are in even better form ahead of Sunday’s meeting having moved up to sixth by taking 10 points from their last 15.

But Arsenal look to have hit their straps again since the return of Martin Odegaard and recent form shows four straight wins with 15 goals scored in that run.

Fulham may get on the scoresheet but Arsenal in this mood will be hard to stop and I’ll put the Gunners in a 2pm treble alongside Leicester and Bournemouth. That pays a mouthwatering 14/1.

Tottenham vs Chelsea

The 4.30pm kick-off is the London derby between Spurs and Chelsea and this should be hugely entertaining affair.

Tottenham, in typical Spurs fashion, have followed a stunning 4-0 away win at Manchester City with the huge comedown of a 1-1 home draw with Fulham and that limp 1-0 away defeat at Bournemouth.

Some will say it’s almost written here that they suddenly turn up again, get the win and everyone loves Ange Postecoglou once more.

But maybe not though. Chelsea are in great form after three straight Premier League wins moved them up to second and, despite protestations that they’re not serious title contenders, another win here will make many more think otherwise.

There surely must be goals here and my best scorer bet is a punt on Nicolas Jackson.

The Chelsea striker bagged a hat-trick in this fixture last year and will be raring to go after being rested against Southampton due to being one yellow away from a suspension.

Jackson to score in a Chelsea win is an appealing 3/1.

Dave's Premier League Tips

  • Bournemouth, Leicester and Arsenal treble at 14/1

  • Nicolas Jackson to score in a Chelsea win v Spurs at 3/1
