Brighton v Crystal Palace

Let’s start with the 2pm kick-off between Brighton and Crystal Palace.

Brighton start the weekend in 7th, with Palace down in 17th.

But in terms of current form, Palace are on the up while Brighton are stalling. The visitors are unbeaten in four while Brighton have only managed two wins in eight.

However, this M23 derby is often fiercely contested and six of the last 10 meetings have ended 1-1.

Current form points to something similar given that Palace have drawn four of their last six so back the 1-1 correct scoreline at 7/1.

Man City v Man Utd

The big game of the day is at The Etihad where the two Manchester giants, City and United, have severe doubts hanging over them ahead of their 4.30pm showdown.

City have suffered seven defeats in their last 10 games which is just madness while Ruben Amorim has managed to take just four points from 12 since taking charge at United.

One slightly under-reported stat is that United have the joint-best defence on the road this season, conceding just seven goals in seven away Premier League matches.

Also highly unusual is that City are struggling to find the net on a regular basis and Wolves have managed more home goals than Pep’s side.

City might just have enough but 4/6 is too short so, instead, take the 9/5 on Under 2.5 goals. That would have landed in four of United’s last five away Premier League away games.

Chelsea v Brentford

We have a pair of 7pm kick-offs too in the Premier League on Sunday which is somewhat unusual.

Let’s start with Chelsea v Brentford - a game that would be a fascinating one to call if it were being held at the Gtech where Brentford’s home form is sensational.

But it isn’t and on the road they’ve been dreadful and Thomas Frank’s side are running into a Chelsea side who have reeled off six straight wins in all competitions.

Nicolas Jackson looked gutted to be subbed off against Tottenham last week but he’d netted four in six before that and can register again here.

Back Jackson to score in a Chelsea win at 6/4.

Southampton v Tottenham

Southampton v Spurs is the other Sunday 7pm kick-off.

Spurs were slightly fortunate to get away with a 1-1 draw away to Rangers on Thursday night and that’s now three draws and two defeats in their last five matches.

Luckily for them, Southampton are in even worse form after four losses and a draw in their last five so the losing manager here - be it Russell Martin or Ange Postecoglou - will come under even more pressure.

To be honest it’s hard to trust either but what we do know is that there are goals when these two go head-to-head. The last three meetings have produced 16 although Over 3.5 is odds-on here so the market expects it.

Instead, head to the scorer markets and back Dejan Kulusevski. The Swede has two in two, including the equaliser against Rangers, and will definitely start here having played just 45 minutes at Ibrox.

Dave’s Premier League Tips

  • Brighton and Crystal Palace to draw 1-1 at 7/1

  • Under 2.5 goals in Man City v Man Utd at 9/5

  • Nicolas Jackson to score in a Chelsea win v Brentford at 6/4

  • Dejan Kulusevski to score anytime v Southampton at 29/10
