Here is the concensus tip of the day, for March the 1st, from Tipstrr
Considering the Cheltenham Festival is only ten days away, there’s some decent National Hunt racing to enjoy on Saturday, with Tipstrr’s team of racing pundits happy to stick their collective neck out with an each-way punt on Saligo Bay in the last race on Doncaster's card.
With five career victories under his belt, this seven-year-old gelding is no stranger to the winner’s enclosure, albeit his most recent success came a dozen outings ago in late 2023.
His most recent near miss was in October, when he finished a close-up second of 15 runners on his last appearance for before switching from from Gary and Joshua Moore's stables.
His new trainer, Sam England, has saddled two winners and no fewer than nine runners-up in her last 20 attempts, so her string is clearly being produced in good shape.

She gave Saligo Bay a couple of all-weather flat runs to keep him sharp over the winter, and his return to hurdles saw him finish a decent third of nine runners in heavy ground at Sedgefield in late January.
He clearly didn’t relish the hefty step up in trip when trailing home fifth of nine at Catterick last time out, so he should be much more at home now back over his preferred two-mile distance .
The trainer’s husband, Jonathan England, is in the saddle, and as the married team have Saligo Bay as their yard's only representative on Saturday, Tipstrr's pundits have high hopes that he can defy his double-digit odds to at least force his way into the each-way places.
Saligo Bay (each-way) 5.07 Doncaster
