SHEFF UTD v HULL CITY BETTING PREVIEWJames Buttler

It’s congested at the top of the Championship and Sheffield United continue to get the job done. In the automatic promotion positions with plenty over their shoulder. The Blades don’t blitz sides, but they’ve won their last three matches in the league. They overcame defeat at home to fellow promotion pushers Burnley and a draw against West Brom with a 2-0 win over Norwich.

Hull City are down in 21st place and level on points with the two teams below them in the relegation berths. It’s a relegation fight for the Tigers this season and they have won their last two away games. But Friday is a tough one to see going in their favour.

Tight at the Championship summit

James Buttler looks ahead to the Friday evening's kick-off in the Championship as The Blades host The Tigers and finds the very best bets.

Chris Wilder’s been there and done it before and Sheffield United will be in the mix come the end of the season. They should find Hull to their liking on Friday and get three points on the board before their rivals hit the turf over the weekend.

Sheffield United are unbeaten in their last seven against Hull at this level and they won the reverse fixture 2-0. 10 out of 13 league matches at Bramall Lane this season have seen the visitors failing to score and most of those teams have been better than Hull City.

The Blades are skinny at 13/20 to win but add some value by taking them to win ‘to nil’ at 7/4 with William Hill.
