Starting with the early kick off and Cyprus have won just one of their last eight games at home and that was against Lithuania. Six of those games have been home defeats.

Kosovo won both times these sides met in 2022, and won them convincingly. The Kosovans have only grown in strength since then so I’m starting the evening with an away win in Larnaca.

The huge game late on is France v Belgium, again two heavyweights who fizzled out at the Euros. The French were surprisingly blown away by Italy the other night and if they don’t win this you may start to hear those calls for a change of manager, with Deschamps still in post when many thought Zidane was ready to step into his job. He may still be and I can’t back the French here with that in mind. Have they got the firepower? Do they need it against a back line that has Wout Faes in it? Both teams to score is my fence-sitting choice in this one at 4/5.

Stepping away from the accumulator, you can’t ignore De Bruyne any time at 6/1 and first scorer at 14/1.

In the other game in that group Italy, off the back of that incredible win in Paris should beat Israel away (in Budapest) although the price is very short and this is Italy we’re talking about – that win in France was very good. Israel have won only two of their last eight games.

Rounding up the evening I saw enough of Craig Bellamy’s Wales to suggest they can start winning games again and away to Montenegro feels a good time to start. The Montenegrins were not great in Iceland as they fell to a 2-0 defeat while Wales took the game to Türkiye and got a draw out of it.

Finishing off with Slovenia at home to Kazakhstan, the Slovenians are one of several smaller sides to have pushed on from their Euros and they face a Kazakh side on a five-match losing streak on their travels.

The first of those five defeats was against Slovenia, and I’m suggesting the same result tonight.

So that’s Slovenia to beat Kazakhstan at home

Wales to win in Montenegro

Italy to beat Israel in Hungary

Kosovo to win in Cyprus

And both to score in France v Belgium

That's 13/1 for the 5-timer

Don’t forget that De Bruyne goal scorer price as well
