James Buttler looks forward to three Nations League matches on Saturday and comes up with a 3.6/1 treble and a 10/1 Bet Builder.
Spain v Denmark
Denmark head to Spain with a two-point lead at the top of Nations League Group A4, but will have their work cut out to maintain that advantage. Spain are the Euros Champions, they are unbeaten in 12 matches, winning 10, and they have score twice or more nine times in those 12 games.

Luis de la Fuente’s side have however only kept one clean sheet in their last six, so BTTS is a play against a Danish side that have won both of their opening matches 2-0 against Switzerland and Serbia. Denmark have lost just once in 10 matches, winning five, but they’ve only ever beaten Spain twice in 16 attempts, losing 12.
A scorer play might be Fabián Ruiz who has bagged five in nine and, despite Denmark’s good recent run, it’s tough to look past the reigning Nations League champions. I’m relying on Spain with this tip as none of Denmark’s last four games have seen BTTS or over 2.5 goals, but Spain certainly bring that to the party.
Spain to win. Fabian Ruiz to score, over 2.5 goals and BTTS is 10/1 with William Hill. For the treble, I’m keeping it simple – Spain to win at 4/11.
Croatia v Scotland
Croatia have a golden opportunity to stay in second and maintain pressure on Group A1 leaders Portugal as they host winless Scotland. Zlatko Dalić’s side have won five of their last six UNL group matches and the UNL runners-up to Spain last time could make a move towards the quarter-finals with a likely win.
Scotland have won only one of their last 14 games, losing 9 and Steve Clarke’s team are riddled with injury, but the Scots will be buoyed by the knowledge that they only lost once in six previous matches with Croatia.
For me, this is a Croatia win and with Scotland having conceded at least twice in 10 of their last 14 matches, Croatia to score over 1.5 goals at 8/11 looks like a solid punt.
Poland v Portugal
In the other match in Group A1, Portugal should beat a Poland side that have just one win in five matches and saw them exit Euro 2024 at the group stage. Portugal have won 3 and drawn 2 of the last five H2Hs
Portugal have conceded one goal or fewer in eight matches, winning six, and a win on Saturday would see them cement their top of the table status, so all to play for. It’s a match the away side should win, but I’m going to astonish you by tipping Cristiano Ronaldo to add to his huge career tally. Ronaldo anytime is 19/20.
James’ Nations League Tips
Spain to win. Fabian Ruiz to score, over 2.5 goals and BTTS is 10/1
Spain to win at 4/11
Croatia to score over 1.5 goals at 8/11
Cristiano Ronaldo to score at 19/20
That treble is worth 3.6/1.
As always, please gamble responsibly.
