US OPEN BETTING UPDATEJames Buttler

I said I'd pop back at various stages throughout the US Open, and here I am.

If you heard my previews, I was looking at Aryna Sabalenka to win the Women's and I picked Novak Djokovic to win the Men's. They're both still going strong and I'm not going to reverse those picks.

But there's a few little bets we could have at this stage in the tournament. It's very difficult with the timings in the USA to do match bets for this event, so I'm coming back with a few updated outright picks just to see if we can eke out a little bit more value after seeing some of the early matches.

SkySports tennis commentator James Buttler takes a look at the US Open contenders after the first few days at Flushing Meadow.

Novak Djokovic, he's now 5/2 from the initial 11/4 to win the US Open. I'll still take him. and stand by that selection. He's playing some very good tennis and obviously buoyed by having that Olympic gold medal on his blossoming, burgeoning, bulging trophy cabinet.

Taylor Fritz was another pick I had at 50/1 as a bit of an outsider in this tournament. He's in quarter three of the draw and you can take him with Skybet to win that quarter at 3/1. (I think that's a fairly solid pick.

Aryna Sabalenka as I mentioned was my pick to win the US Open at 3/1. She's still going strong and is now 15/8 to lift the trophy. That's still a decent enough price on, I think, the best player in the draw.

And, if you want something a little bit skinnier, but obviously a little bit more safe / attainable, for Sabalenka to come through the fourth quarter of the women's draw, that's a 1/2 shot.

Emma Navarro was one of my outsiders at 50/1 to go a long way in this tournament and she's playing some really good tennis. For her to win the third quarter in the women's draw is now a 5/1 pick. She's got to see off Coco Gauff, Elina Svitolina and Paula Badosa, all playing well too. But Navarro's got something about her. She's a youngster who has got a bright future. If it's not this season, it will be at some stage in the future. Navarro at 5/1 to come through that third quarter is a pretty good play.

Good luck with all your bets, enjoy the tennis and I'll pop back at some stage during the rest of the US Open with a few more updates.

Gamble responsibly, everybody.
