A Wimbledon Friday Sixfold

I'm going to start off with three players who I think are very, very strong shouts to go through, who have played well so far, and are favourites to go through and win the trophies in their own right.

PICKS 4, 5 & 6: Carlos Alcaraz is 1/14, 1/16 for Jannick Sinner, and Coco Gauff is 1/12. You could play them to win in straights, there are options within the markets, but just store those as outrights, for now.

Now I'm going to go into three players who are bigger prices, who I think have a real chance of getting through.

Betting Radio previewing Wimbledon 2024

PICK 1: Let's start off with Diana Yastremska. The world no.27 is taking on Donna Vekic, the world no.37. The Ukrainian Yastremska is 3-3 with Vekic on the H2Hs. Vekic made the final on the grass at Bad Homburg last week, so she's playing well and Yastremska went out in the round of 16, but they both lost to the eventual winner Diana Schneider. Yastremska made the last 16 in 2019 at Wimbledon and was a semi-finalist at the Australian Open earlier this year. She's a star on the rise. Vekic won their only meeting on grass and may well win again, but this is 50:50 in my eyes. I might even edge the Ukrainian and therefore the 23/10 on Yastremska makes far more betting sense.

PICK 2: Let's move on to Emma Navarro taking on Diana Schneider, two form players at the moment. Navarro is the slight favourite in this one. Schneider is 11/10 and won the title in Bad Homburg on the grass last week and she's already taken out Pliskova and Stephens en route to the third round. Navarro has had two good wins as well with Wang and Osaka in her back pocket. Schneider though leads 2-0 on the H2Hs , including the semi-final at Bad Homburg. She should not be the outsider of these two, so I'm taking Schneider at 11/10.

PICK 3: Finally, Gaëlle Monfils of France is playing some really good tennis at the moment. He takes on the former Wimbledon semi-finalist Grigor Dimitrov, but Monfils has more than a chance of landing the 21/10 on him to win.

Stick Monfils, Schneider and Yastremska into a treble and that’s 22/1. Add on Picks 4,5 and 6 in Alcaraz, Sinner and Gauff, at very short prices, and it boosts it to a 25/1 sixfold.

Good luck with all your bets.
