A Wimbledon Monday Treble

PICK 1: Let's start off in the women's side of things and we're into the Wimbledon 4th Round now. Elena Rybakina, as you know if you've been listening to the other previews so far, she's one of my tournament tips, with Coco Gauff. I fancy one of those two to lift the trophy at Wimbledon on Sunday. Rybakina is the no.4 seed from Kazakhstan, and she's taking on Anna Kalinskaya. They've met four times before, it's 2-2, but they've never met on grass. Kalinskaya is yet to drop a set, but this is a step up for her. Rybakina to go through in straight sets is 6/7.

PICK 2: Staying with the women, Danielle Collins of USA, the no.11 seed, is taking on Barbara Krejcikova, and we've had some joy with the Czech so far in this tournament. I'm going to play her again. They've met once before on the hard courts of San Diego in 2023, Krejcikova winning the deciding set 6-2 on that occasion, and this could be another three-setter. I fancy Krejcikova to cause what will be deemed, certainly by the seedings, an upset in this one. She's 9/5 to win the match, and you can take that by all means, but I'm playing her at 5/1 to win in three sets.

PICK 3: It's the tale of two big hitting tall men. Taylor Fritz, 13th seed of USA, is taking on Alexander Zverev, the 4th seed from Germany. Two really big servers here. Zverev loved his 3rd Round match on Centre Court in front of the watching Pep Guardiola, who he met later after the match. Zverev, a big Bayern Munich fan, where Pep was manager between 2013 and 2016, even offered him the job as his coach. Pep shook his head, I think, to that suggestion. They've met eight times, with Zverev leading the duel 5-3. They met twice on the Wimbledon grass, with Zverev winning both encounters. One match went to five sets, the other to four. There were 50 games in the first one, 44 games in the second. This could be a tale of service holds, plenty of tie-breaks, and play overs on the games. Over 45.5 games in this match is a 5/4 shot.

Roll all of that together and it is a 19.67/1 treble.
