Sam Hart gives us his best bets on day four of the World Darts Championship.
Welcome back along to Betting Radio for the World Darts Championship previews for day four of the action at the Ally Pally.
Just an evening session on Wednesday at the Palace, however we have an entertaining night to look forward to in North London.
The opening game of the night is a first round match between Jim WIlliams and Paolo Nebrida. Jim Williams is the 1/4 favourite to win this match, but even though he is 46 in the world, don't expect everything to go his way. Paolo Nebrida of the Philippines plays on the PDC Asian tour, and you may remember in the Bahrain Masters he took Michael Smith to the wire when he lost 6-5 to the Bully Boy. I think with Jim Williams getting to the last 32 in the last two years he is difficult to oppose, and even if Paolo Nebrida brings his A game, he will struggle to get past Jim. So a 3-0 win at 7/4 with Sky Bet is tempting on Jim Williams
Two matches later we get to see possibly the most entertaining player in the whole tournament where rapid Ricky Evans takes to the stage against Gordon Mathers of Australia. That's right, blink and you'll miss him. The fastest player in the world. 2.65 seconds is his record for a 180. He is one that will have a big walk on and an energy that will get the crowd on side with him. He tends to do well at this event and should make his way past Gordon Mathers who shouldn’t be to Rapid Ricky’s level. The winner plays Dave Chisnall in the second round on the 23rd of December. Ricky Evans to win and hit the first 180 at 10/11 with Sky Bet is the bet in this one. Expect a fun celebration from Ricky if he wins this, and be ready for a game that will leave a smile on your face.
To finish the night off, Nathan Aspinall plays his second round match against Leonard Gates. Mr Brightside will be ringing around the Palace as Nathan takes to the stage. Leonard pulled out some outrageous finishing in his match against Menzies on Monday night, but Nathan Aspinall will likely be way too good for him on Wednesday night and make his way into round three.
Thanks for tuning into this day four preview of the World Darts Championship, and as always do remember to gamble responsibly.
