Six Nations Betting Preview – Scotland v England – Richard Shaw Wright
This is Richard Shaw Wright trusting Wikipedia that it will be the 130th Calcutta Cup match between Scotland and England, kicking off early on Saturday evening in the Six Nations as the home side look to win a fourth straight game in the tournament against their opponents from South of the border.
Now Scotland, the favourites here with a win over Wales and a narrow defeat to the French.
You would fancy them to get a second win in the 2024 Six Nations here - I still don't know what to make of England. I'm not sure anyone does to be honest, and having beaten Wales and Italy, arguably the weakest of the teams in the tournament I have more trust in Scotland in this match, hence why I'm backing them to win - A four point handicap is fine by me to weigh in with them as well, and with Finn Russell's boot key against France, I'd take a Scotland penalty as the first scoring play here too.
For fun, let's play over on the cards as well, with over 1.5 a shade of odds against both sides picked up two on their own in their respective matches with Wales.
